Taking this project from sketch to completed vector graphic was a delightful experience. The assignment was to create a simple graphic that radiated the friendship, love and joy of the Christmas season.

After some consideration, it was decided that the first sketch was the best match for the message on the interior of the card. Using Adobe/Macromedia Freehand, I created a vector graphic from the sketch.
After the first pass was complete, a background element was added that gave a touch of the gift-giving spirit and Christian heritage of the holiday. With the selection of an appropriate font, and some adjustments for exact compatibility with the printer capabilities, the work was done.
